Websites that can be used as resources for teaching and learning in a mathematics classroom

This website is useful to find definitions and examples of concepts in geometry, trigonometry, algebra, and calculus. It also gives a demo representation of each concept.

This website is useful to find common core state standards. This can help a teacher find the guidelines and criteria for each standard.

This website is a template to make jeopardy games, which is a great way to get students excited about review. The students can split up into as many teams as they want and it keeps score!

IXL is a great way for students to review for tests and finals. It keeps score and lets the student move on once they have achieved a certain amount of points.

Algebra help is a great website that gives teachers an access to worksheets, lessons, calculator questions, and resources. This can be used for Math 1, 2, and 3

This website allows teachers to text message their students and teachers in a safe and appropriate way. The students cannot respond to the text message . The text message simply serves as a reminder.

This website can be used for students to play angry birds if the students do not have a tablet, iPad, or iPhone. Angry birds is a great way to introduce quadratics to students.

This website introduces an app that is very useful for teachers who have access to an iPad. This app allows teachers to make seating charts, email parents, record grades, and many more useful applications.

This website gives access and information about the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCCTM). This website allows a teacher to become a member and be updated about local conferences for mathematics.
